Introducing Caily Joelle Miles!!!

Here she is! Caily Joelle Miles made her appearance this afternoon, weighing in at 7 pounds 10 ounces and surprising everyone! She is adorable and we just had to share the news with you!

Darin and Jody are thrilled to introduce you to their little girl! What a great looking family!

10 perfect little toes!

I just love how chubby she is....the little wrinkles on her hands and the cute cheeks! Only one more week until we get to meet her in person! Babies are so precious!

Thank you to all of you that have prayed for this little gal and her Mommy these past months! Today we are celebrating God's amazing faithfulness to our entire family!

Memorable Moments

I am up way, way past my bedtime, but I wanted to share a few memorable moments of the last week with you.....Aidan was 10 months old on Sunday and with the help of his Auntie Heather and Uncle Matt, discovered our piano! He loved making music......again and again and again!

This picture was taken at Jamie and Megan's on Father's Day...they invited us over for lunch after church(Heather and Matt joined us for dinner when Matt was finished with work). Anyway, Megan made sushi especially for Dave and I agreed to try it! Megs captured the moment! And yes, for all of you who are wondering, I liked it!

Didn't know it would be so hard to get a picture of the three Beck men in honor of Father's Day...as you can tell, Aidan was having a blast!

To the Fathers in my Life

Tomorrow is Father's Day and all week I have been thinking about the fathers in my life! I am married to the best Dad in the whole world! Dave loves spending time with his children and now grandchildren and is an amazing Dad who loves nothing better than spending time with the family. Today he went over and babysat Aidan while Jamie and Megan played softball and I had an appointment! Way to Go Honey!

This morning we also called my Dad since I knew that tomorrow we would be celebrating Father's Day at Jamie and Megan's house. Opa to the kids, and now 'Opa the Great' to Aidan, he is so proud of everyone and quick to tell others about the Gang!

Tomorrow will also be Jamie's first Father's Day as a Dad, and what a great Dad he is! As you can see from this picture, Aidan loves spending time with Jamie, and they have lots of fun together. It's fun to be at this stage of my life, watching my son father his own son, and wonder at this amazing thing called family!

And here is the Father-to-be in our family! I love this picture of Darin and Jody and their little one. With Jody now at 37 weeks, Darin will soon be holding his baby in his arms and I have no doubt that he too will make an awesome Dad!

Lastly I have been thinking a lot this week about the Father we miss. It's been three years since Dave's Dad went home to be with the Jesus he loved, and I wonder what he thinks as he looks down at his grandchildren having babies. How he would have loved to hold these little ones....thanks for praying for all of us Dad!
