Just a few more pictures.....

I feel like in some ways I have to post lots of pictures of Caily now while we are here since these will be the last that I will be taking for several months. Today we took time to capture a few memories......I have carried Caily like this a lot to try to get her to burp, settle down after a feeding or 'just because'.....Dave captured it this morning.

I also asked Dave to take this picture outside this afternoon....three generations on one picture. Where have the years gone?

My sister said it best, "when your baby has a baby, are there words to express what you must be feeling?" You are so right! There really aren't words to express it....my baby girl with her baby girl! Precious!

Being here in Texas and seeing this little gal every day this past week has been so fun! We can almost literally see her growing! Outfits that were too big last week fit this week, like the little sunsuit that she had on yesterday. She was sooooo cute in it!

Tonight while we played cards she was enjoying being in her Daddy's lap! and she almost filled it up already! She has grown in length since we arrived too.

I just had to share this picture with y'all! Today we all commented on how much stronger her neck was and how she had decided that she liked this position......looks like a thinker in the making! and what a cute one at that!

Meeting Caily Joelle

As you can see we made it to Texas and met Caily Joelle. She has captured our hearts and we just can't get enough of her.

She mostly just sleeps and eats, but her expressions are priceless! Who says babies can't smile? or that they are only having gas...sure looks like the real thing!

Dave gets his turn in too, and is more than happy to hold her. He was reading but decided to join Caily in taking a nap! I couldn't resist capturing the moment on film!

Celebrating my Birthday in Minnesota

God often surprises me with His perfect plans that are way beyond what I could imagine! One of those surprises was when we found out that our good friends Steve and Nancy(and Duke the Wonderdog) were going to be coming thru Minnesota when we were here at Dave's Mom's home in Norcross. They pulled in their big rig yesterday and we went out to dinner to catch up.

Today we have been partying all day long, playing cards, laughing and just enjoying time with friends! What better way than that to celebrate my birthday! Click here to see more photos of our awesome time together.
