We're Back!

It's true....after the trip of a lifetime(for us anyway) we are back!! Thank you to those of you that have already told me that you have been checking our blog for pictures....but it's taken us a few days to unpack, do laundry and adjust to this time zone again. There will be lots of pictures and posts to come in the weeks ahead, but in the meantime, here are just a few clues.

We were away for 18 days and travelled to 4 countries.....

We walked, swam, relaxed, and generally just had a wonderful time together. And along the way we saw some beautiful parts of God's creation.

We made many amazing memories that we will treasure for a lifetime....

We are still sorting through hundreds of pictures, deleting, deleting and deleting, trying to keep only the best to share with our family and friends. And along the way we smile a lot as we remember our time away.

Happy 3rd Birthday Caily Belle!

Today is your 3rd Birthday my Caily Belle and how I wish we could be there today to celebrate it with you. Your Daddy once asked me why I called you Caily Belle and the answer is I don't really know...that's just what I have always called you. You are definitely your Daddy's girl, and you love nothing better than spending time with him doing whatever it is that he is doing, even if it is painting fencing.

But you also have a very special spot in your heart for your Bupa! If he isn't in our weekly skype call you want to know, 'Where's Bupa?' How dare he not be here when you are skyping with us.

You are such a little mother and always have some stuffed animal or horse that you are carrying around with you, wrapping in blankets and rocking. We can depend on you showing us whatever this week's special one is when we skype.

You love all animals but puppies and horses are definitely your favorite. 

 And like your Mommy and Mimi, you love being outside!

You love life Caily...and it is so fun to watch you enjoy it!
