Little Colson was jaundiced so one of my 'assignments' while we were in Texas was to sit in the sun with him for 3-5 minutes 'each' side, 3 or 4 times a day.
Can you tell that he absolutely loved it?
Even when he was fussy, just taking him outside into the heat would calm him down...
and put him to sleep.
He looked so peaceful...
...so calm.
It looked like he preferred his face to the sun...
but on his back was just fine too.
I couldn't get enough of watching him...
...which made it even harder to say goodbye.
But I will cherish each memory of holding my grandson in the sun!
