Last week at the closing Banquet of our annual Staff Conference in Whistler, a group of us were standing together, saying our goodbyes for another year(or two or three), when suddenly we realized that we needed a picture to document this occasion. As we added together our years on staff, the total was well over 200 years!!
We all started out in the Campus ministry, working on University Campuses across Canada and eventually most of our husbands transferred into different ministries. Our children are all 'staff kids' who grew up in the ministry and now have children of their own. We are Grandmas who still love catching up with one another and the lives of our children, sharing both the highs and the lows. As we walked back to our hotel that night I couldn't help but smiling. Old friends are truly a blessing...thanks God! You are so amazingly faithful!
