The last evening that we were altogether was our personal Christmas Eve. Caily and Lexi were so excited to be able to put on their Christmas dresses and get ready to open presents.
Having our Texans with us made the evening extra-special, a once every two years special!
Like father, like son!!
How I miss these girlies.....
This was a common sight at our house over the three weeks...me holding a sleeping Bria or Halle, definitely one of my very favorite things to do!
Four generations on one picture! We are so blessed! Kai loves his Oma and Opa. Unfortunately Aidan started throwing up just before we started taking pictures so we didn't get a picture with all the cousins together with Oma and Opa or with ourselves. So we had to start opening gifts while Aidan sat and very sadly watched.
Kai was very impressed with his personalized backpack! He was so excited to have it packed full when he got on the plane this past Saturday.
Everyone was hoping Jaxon would take his Light Saber out of the packaging!
Oma and Opa loved their photobook of the Beck Family in 2011.
Aidan did have a few minutes where he felt a bit better so got to open some of his gifts before Megan took him home...poor guy, we all felt so badly for him.
Caily liked her backpack too!(I ordered them online...my new favorite way to shop!)
'Give it to me'....Lexi could hardly wait for her presents! As you can see in the background, Halle slept through all the excitement(so did Bria for that matter).
The next morning Matt packed up their vehicle and headed for home since he had to work the next morning. We were sad to see him go. By that evening we also took Jody and her family back to Seattle where they caught their flight home the next morning.
We did take a picture of Jamie, Megs and the boys on Christmas Day when they were over with her parents for turkey dinner, but Kai decided he should be on the picture too. I just had to laugh! He loves his cousins, especially Aidan and Jaxon!
A family picture with Megan's family who spent their first Christmas here in BC. It was fun having them all over on Christmas Day .... a first since Jamie and Megan got married!
There were so many magical moments. I found myself quietly just watching and trying to take it all in so I wouldn't forget any of it! What an incredible blessing...the blessing of family!
