It's hard to believe that it's been a month already since we flew into San Diego for a warm vacation with friends. We came back to cold weather and flu bugs and the pictures just never got posted.
We had left home in miserable cold and snow......
.....and arrived in San Diego to a beautiful sunny spring day.
Our hotel was right on the harbor....
...and it was there that we met our good friends, Tom and Ruth.
We had last seen them when we said goodbye in Rome at the close of our Mediterranean Cruise two years ago...
....and now here we were, ready to head down the Pacific Coast on another cruise.
We also met up with our friend Rosie from New York State.....
...who we last saw when she visited us a year ago.
It was so fun to be standing here with her on the California Coast.

Our mutual friend Linda picked us all up and took us for a tour around San Diego....
...before it was time to embark on our ship(but more about that later) We were ready for another adventure!
