Every single one of our grandchildren is special but when you are the third girl in the family...
...you don't get a lot of time alone with your grandparents.
I think for that reason it was extra-special to watch this little sweetheart enjoy her time alone with her grandpa.
This particular morning the older girls were out on a date with their Daddy...
...and did she ever enjoy it!
She brought him all of her favorite things and then settled in for some iPad time with just the two of them.
It was much the same every morning when she and her sisters would come and wake me up...
Long after the older two went back downstairs, she would still be sitting on our bed, bringing me books to read or toys to play with. We loved our time alone!
Another morning she invited Dave to come along for a ride in her car! :-)
As I thought about these special times, I couldn't help but think about how God loves each of us uniquely and yet we are all precious in his sight. This little gal was definitely the apple of her Grandfather's eye!
