It's Thanksgiving Day here in Canada and after a busy weekend,
the house is strangely still.
You see these two littles came to visit with their parents
...just a quick trip down on Friday,
and left for home this morning.
But oh it was fun
and we all enjoyed the together time!
The house was full of laughter and giggles as the cousins played
and we ate our fill of Turkey Dinner on Saturday
and Pancakes with Blueberry Sauce and Whipped Cream for Brunch on Sunday
only missing our Texans.
Each person, including the littlest said what they were thankful for before we started eating on Saturday
and my heart was so full!
I didn't take any pictures
I was too busy just soaking it all in!
We have so much to be thankful for...
...healthy children
...spouses committed to working on their marriages
...hearts of thanksgiving
...lives that love Jesus
...a family that enjoys being together
whether in the gym on Saturday morning(thank you Uncle Jamie)
or playing Uno on Sunday afternoons,
...hugs and kisses all around
...smiles and laughter in the walls
...and a God that gives us peace that passes all understanding
because He is the Prince of Peace
the real Joy Giver
the Source of all Hope.
In a world filled with heartache and loss,
people of all ages suffering and fighting for their lives,
we are strangely blessed,
and for all of this and more I am thankful beyond measure.

The fact that you had no time for pictures simply tells us that you were living in the moment. It's all good. Your list conjures up great images.
