Learning from the Best

 Last Monday night I dropped my parents off at the airport for their flight home and thought of all our friends and family for whom last Christmas was their last one together ..... I cherish each one where we can have them here to celebrate with their daughters, grandchildren and yes their great-grandchildren!!!

I love watching them enjoy their great-grandchildren....

.....and realize that they are great examples to me!

They love snuggling up on the couch, or getting down on the floor.....

.....playing tennis or soccer.....

.....or crawling onto the bed to play house(notice Kai 'sleeping' on the floor!)

Holding the newest member of the family  and taking time to cuddle a sleeping baby.....

or having a serious conversation is never a hardship!

The kids absolutely love them.....

and obviously the feeling is mutual!

 

We are so blessed and learning from the best on how to be great, great, grandparents!
