It was a beautiful fall, Friday morning when Heather asked if I would like to play photographer
and try to capture a family picture for them.
It was a perfect day for it, so how could I refuse?
Although there was a bit of a discussion at first about getting changed to take pictures,
Kai and Halle quickly got into the spirit of things...
and posed for me when they found a place they thought would be good.
Sulking about taking pictures was forgotten...
and instead I just followed everyone through the park and clicked away to my heart's content!
Grandchildren,
their parents,
and the beautiful fall colours made this Grandma 'click happy'.
One last family shot,
and then it was time to play...
finding the perfect rock to skip,
seeing whose rock went the furthest,
A perfect morning,
to remember...
that fun can be had by old and young,
Thank you Lord for memories such as these,
for our Northerners
who let us come up and invade their home and their lives
for days on end
and who are always sad to see us go.
who let us come up and invade their home and their lives
for days on end
and who are always sad to see us go.

And grandma did a great job! I love the smiles and color of the leaves and how they frame the photos so beautifully.
