BECK BULLETIN

We are on a journey, sojourners on this earth. Let us share with you the highs and lows of our lives. Heaven is a sweeter place now that we have two beautiful granddaughters waiting there for us.

Ahihi-Kina'u

This natural area reserve is on the south portion of the Maui coastline
at the end of the paved road(yup we drove it) south of Kihei.
There is a parking lot with a resident ranger
and you have to hike into the actual beach.
Only one mile of the reserve's coastline is open...
...but this area contains the most diverse and abundant reef in the entire reserve.
The remaining two miles of reserve coastline is closed.
But we had come all this way to snorkel...
 so snorkel we did!
The colours in the water were amazing and  we literally swam with hundreds of fish.
We were sad to have to go,
but the boys wanted to find a beach with sand because they didn't really enjoy the rocky shore.
But from my standpoint, Kanahena Beach was amazing!
