It's late and definitely past my bedtime, but for all of you blog-stalkers that have been wondering how things are going at our house, I just had to share my new favorite picture that was taken earlier today. Aidan spent most of the day here, an opportunity to get to know his Great Grandparents a bit better(my parents arrived yesterday for the holidays). At one point I was holding Caily and he wanted to climb onto my lap too...so up he came holding his book.
What happened next caught us all by surprise....he put his arm around Caily and just gently rubbed the back of her head! It was so cute, and loving and definitely a Kodak moment....Jody captured it on my camera so I could share it with all of you! Being a Grandma really is the best thing ever(so if you don't get an email response from me...just blame it on the grandkids! I am having way too much fun!)

Way way cute Doris, thanks for sharing this lovely precious kodak moment, am sure it will be in a frame and on a wall real quick!
Blessings to you and your whole gang, Bobbi
Awww, Doris, what a darling picture. I have been checking all four blogs (Jody's, Megan's, Heather's, and yours) about fifty times a day to see if anyone had blogged yet! I was happy to see Heather's last night and then your's this morning. We are so happy for you to have everyone there. For us, this will be the first Christmas since we've had children (31 years) that we won't see ANY of them on Christmas Day. The other boys are trickling in as they can from Sat-Mon. So, even though I tried to mentally prepare for what it's going to be like, I think I'm a little sad already! We're so happy though, that they all have wonderful in-law families, and will get to spend time with them. So, enjoy every minute...that's a priceless picture. Have a wonderful Christmas! Trudy
