Delight in Life

I have been thinking a lot these past weeks about enjoying the moment....Carpe Diem, Sieze the Day.....it is so easy to live in the past, worry about the future or miss those everyday things that make us smile. So today I wanted to share a few memories that made me smile and continue to make me smile when I think about them or see the pictures.

Here is one that makes me smile...Megan and Aidan coming into our front door with his new hat!(how can you not smile at that face?!)
I made this card for Megan's birthday this week and that's where the title of this post came from...Delight in life! I love scrapbooking and making cards ....
A special memory that I will savor from the holidays was seeing my parents getting to know their great-grandchildren. This picture of my Mom with Aidan was priceless.....

Another memory that I will savor during these coming months is the time that Matt spent with his nephew and niece.....Aidan loves his Uncle Matthew.

Caily looks so relaxed in this picture from Christmas Eve....Matt you are an awesome uncle!

Hey Doris...love reading your blog and seeing all the pictures. How do you ever get the time to scrapbook and make cards???? Keep those pictures coming and you all have a wonderful New Year!

I was wondering the same thing, Doris. It amazes me that you do so much. I enjoy the photos on your blog, especially of the grandbabies. They are so precious.

Thanks for the reminder to "enjoy the moment". It was what I needed to hear today.
Great pictures!

Thanks for reminding me today to make the moments count. It's so easy to dwell on "what ifs" or worry about little things and make them big, when you have nothing big to worry about.
The pictures are great!
