This week as I have watched Caily and Lexi I have often thought about my own sister....there were just the two of us! This morning Jody dressed the girls in two adorable matching outfits from my sister....their Great Aunt! So in honor of that I am dedicating this post to Ev who is truly a great aunt! Here's Caily saying 'good morning world'!
I wanted to get a picture with the two girls but it wasn't that easy.....so first Dave took a picture of Lexi and I.
Finally Caily agreed if Mimi would hold both her and Lexi...so here we are!
It's incredible how much Lexi is changing from day to day....her cheeks are filling out and we even noticed that her arms aren't as skinny anymore....here she is 'chillaxing' in her swing.
We had some more fun with bubbles today and I enjoyed just clicking away in an attempt to capture some of Caily's expressions.
We enjoy sitting outside on the porch and later this afternoon we captured this picture of Jody with her girls. Aren't they just the cutest?!
Another story but suffice it to say, this was taken at dinnertime tonight when Caily and Darin were goofing around....I just love her expression on this picture.
We are enjoying our days as you can tell and I hope those of you in blogland are enjoying the pictures(I would love to see your comments! I can't remember the last time I posted this many times in a row and I realized again tonight how much I look forward to people's comments and wonder if anyone out there is reading them when there aren't comments....an interesting reflection that could be a post of it's own.)

What adorable little girls. I have an 11 month old grandson and an 8 month old granddaughter (she was born prematurely at 1 lb 9 oz so her adjusted age is really 4 months!) and I understand your joy!!
Well, you know this SC Grandma is checking the blog several times a day! We're happy to have Daniel and Renee and David/Haley/Colt and also 8 year old Cort with us for a few days celebrating Memorial Day. We've all been looking at the Texas Grandbabies! Keep on blogging and continue having a wonderful time! You all look great!
It looks like you guys are having a great time. Give the girls a squeeze from me (the aunt they don't know =) and please tell Jods and Darin we are praying for them as the continue to adjust to life with two. Hope to meet Lexi some day soon and give her a squeeze as well as Caily. It would be fun to watch Caily and Aidan play now. I think they would have way too much fun!

Doris, you just do take the best pictures ever! I think with most blogs people read, but just don't always comment very much. It looks like you are all having a wonderful time and it's so fun to check the blog when I know there are bound to be fabulous pictures every day! Thanks for taking the time to post and share with us all.
Well, of course we're reading the blog, but like others I love the pictures of your beautiful grandaughters and their mommy, daddy and proud grandparents! Honestly, it's the way that I can keep up with how your family is changing and still feel connected with them, especially in Jodi's case when she lives so far away and we haven't seen her since she got married. We have so many special memories of your kids and the time we spent together as families, but as they grow up and move away and just continue living their lives, we obviously can't stay as connected as we once were, but I treasure that you share them so generously with us through your pictures and this blog. I rarely comment, but I check all your blogs regularily and wouldn't miss it. The internet has been such a gift when it comes to keeping in touch with friends and I'm truly glad I can get a glimpse into your kids lives more than once of twice a year. Give Jodi and those 2 special daughters of hers a hug and kiss from 'Auntie' Ruth.
