What's old is new again.....

One of the fun things about having grandchildren is getting out the old toys and other things that we used for our own children and watching the delight of the little ones when they discover 'something new'!! :-) One of those happened a few weeks ago when we got our old bunk beds out of storage and bought some new mattresses for them. Aidan was just thrilled about going up the ladder and trying them out.

Sorry that he is 'fuzzy' on this one but he wasn't sitting still enough for the camera to catch it...but I couldn't resist posting it because of his big smile which tells it all.

'Look, I can touch the ceiling!'

Aidan was so excited to be on the top bunk and eye-to-eye with all the stuffed animals! So much fun to be had.He has finally gotten brave enough to sleep up there and last night when they were over, he was waiting for me to scratch his back after Dave told him his three stories(one story for naps and three when it's dark outside!!) There he sat with the biggest grin with Buster the Stuffed Dog looking over the edge of the railing....'Buster's waiting up here for you', Aidan said! Ahh the joy of young minds!!!
