Spring comes early this year....

When we got home from our weekend road trip I couldn't believe that even though it was only February(albeit the last day) , the flowers in our yard declared that it was spring! Monday morning I just had to go out with the camera and capture a few shots...

The star magnolia is about to burst open...I just love watching this tree with it's fuzzy buds which open up into the most spectacular white flowers. Yes that's right...the flowers turn white...

And of course I had to take a picture of the daffodils that are defying the date and blooming in the front bed!!
