What do you think of when you hear the word Mediterranean? For me, my first thoughts have always been 'Mediterranean Cruise' because that is something that I have wanted to do for a very long time(about 35 years!) After being in Turkey last fall and swimming in the Mediterranean I have really wanted to go back with my sweetheart....and guess what? We did!!
You may remember exactly a year ago today we spent the day together in Vancouver, reminding one another to cherish the moments that we have together. In many ways that was a beginning of this adventure, as we began to dream and plan for ways that we could seize the days that we have. As I spoke with one of my aunts the other day and shared about our trip she was so excited....'and no one can ever take that away from you', she said! Truer words were never spoken. We have these memories. And yes, we are still smiling!

Just loved looking at all the pictures Doris and can't wait to see more. It looks like you had a wonderful well-deserved time away....so good for refreshing the soul and spirit! Since Jody hadn't posted in awhile, I hadn't been reading the blogs, but since Jody's back, and you're back, I'll be reading again. Have a wonderful rest of the summer!
