Do April showers really bring May flowers? Probably! Except around here spring flowers are already in full bloom, daffodils, tulips, flowering cherry and plus trees...spring is all around us and I love spring here at the coast. I also love my April 'Doris' Calendar page...it's a great reminder to stop and smell those flowers and yes, even blow some dandelion seeds into the air. You are never to old to do that. That's part of choosing joy you know!

In German we have a saying, April, April, der weiss nicht was er will. Something like, April, April always unpredictable! We had rain first, which turned to snow and now the clouds are breaking up and the sun is shining! No flowers in bloom yet - you are always ahead of the game!
It's a beautiful season here in Louisiana to stop and smell the roses!
Spring is popping out everywhere.
Had to smile at Karin's memory. My mom used to say the same thing.
