We love getting visitors from afar!! Especially when we get two sets at once like we did last month.
Heather drove down with the kids and my parents also drove out from Calgary.
It's always so much fun to catch up,
especially when I can see my parents enjoying their great-grandchildren!
What an incredible blessing.
It's also a great time for 'the boys' to spend time together....you can see on Kai's face his excitement about hanging out with 'his' boys.
Old toys get rediscovered(this 'Daisy' hat was on the way to the Good Will bag when Kai discovered it)
The high chair gets pulled out of storage and put to good use(yes she loves her prunes).
Smiles are cherished and memories made.
And this time we were able to celebrate a family birthday together, instead of from afar!
Jaxon was the Birthday Boy...
...and Kai took it all in(Matt flew in for the second weekend of Heather's time here)
...and together they dreamed about castles and knights, and future battles!! So much fun to be had!
