Just a postcript to my last post. These metal dishes were mine when I was a little girl and I remember playing with them in our play house over 55 years ago!
As Halle and Kai played with them, I couldn't get over the incredible detail. I wonder if my mother got them from Germany or if they were actually bought here in Canada.
I got lost in thought thinking of the many stories they could tell, of little girls that are now grandmothers of little girls, and the little girls that are now the Mommies.
Time marches on, but some things, well they never really get old because for the next generation they are all new again.
And they are always just perfect for little hands!!

It's so interesting how designs and colors change over the years. One day the Barbie plates will be vintage too.
