BECK BULLETIN

We are on a journey, sojourners on this earth. Let us share with you the highs and lows of our lives. Heaven is a sweeter place now that we have two beautiful granddaughters waiting there for us.

Twas the Day After Christmas

(Today's post is by my dear hubby and explains the lack of posts for the past two weeks.)

'Twas the day after Christmas and not a creature was stirring not even a mouse.
The Grandparents were all snug in their bed
With visions of the joy of 8 grandchildren running all over the house dancing through their heads.

It was so quiet in the house that I sprang up to see what was the matter!
Then I realized to my dismay ( and some selfish delight )
that the sleigh had come and taken the parents and kids to return them to their homes.

Then I listened once again
and heard the walls echo with the voices calling our names with such great delight.

What a great Christmas present was given to us by having a houseful for 12 days.
Glad that we still have our son Jamie, daughter-in-law Megan and there two boys here in Abbotsford with us.

No explanations necessary, lol! So glad you have had a wonderful, meaningful Christmastime. We're not used to such intensity of being together anymore - and I, for one, would love to stretch all those visits out over a longer time. Miss mine already as they are on their way home to Lethbridge! Glad we could all be together this first Christmas without Opa, Dad and Hubby! Now forward - one day at a time, sweet Jesus!
