BECK BULLETIN

We are on a journey, sojourners on this earth. Let us share with you the highs and lows of our lives. Heaven is a sweeter place now that we have two beautiful granddaughters waiting there for us.

He Giveth More Grace

Some weeks are harder than others
and this was one of those.

At the end of each day I write down three things that I am thankful for.
Some days those are really obvious because they are direct answers to prayer.
This week I was thankful.....
.....that Jody and Darin's house is sold
..... that Kai is loving Kindergarten
.....and for things that I know will be exciting for our family.....
.....that Aidan was chosen to be on the Soccer 'Prospects' team for this weekend.

But other nights, well it's more difficult and my things to be thankful for look a wee bit different.....
.....for grace when I am weary
.....that You God are more than enough
.....that my tears are precious to God.

Yesterday after our walk, my good friend called with this song for me to remember...
...it was just perfect for me and even this morning the words were still going through my mind.
He giveth more grace as our burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength as our labors increase;
To added afflictions He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials He multiplies peace.
His love has no limits, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary known unto men;
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again.

When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources
Our Father’s full giving is only begun.
His love has no limits, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary known unto men;
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again.

Fear not that thy need shall exceed His provision,
Our God ever yearns His resources to share;
Lean hard on the arm everlasting, availing;
The Father both thee and thy load will upbear.
His love has no limits, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary known unto men;
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again.

As I think of our friends grieving the loss of their son this weekend,
I'm humming this old hymn
because truly his grace has no measure
and I can count on that.

Thank you for reminding me! What a friend we have in Jesus.
