On Thursday morning I became a 'Great Aunt' when my nephew and his wife added the cutest little guy to their family! Ethan David made me 'Great Aunt' and needless to say I am thrilled, especially because they live just behind the office so I get to go 'visit' during my lunch hour! Doesn't get any better than that.
My Sis, Evelyn, will make an amazing Grandma. She loves babies as much as I do and does 'Grandma things' like sewing cloth diapers, blankets, swaddling wraps and almost anything else you could possibly sew for a baby(if any of you in blogland want to buy some of the above, just email me and I will give you her email addy).
They came home from the hospital on Friday night and we were able to pop in .... yup Dave still had his office clothes on! Not me, I had driven Heather to the airport earlier in the afternoon.
He really is the cutest little guy, and so tiny!! But I am sure he won't be tiny for long if he takes after his Dad!

Oh, what a sweet little guy. Congratulations on your new little great nephew! Maybe it won't be too many more years before babies start coming into our family again. It will be so fun to get to that stage!
Babies bring with them so much hope. I tend to melt when I met one.
I'm on a (not very serious) campaign to turn a new phrase, "grandaunt." For details, check out my blog. (Yep, this is a ploy to get you to check out pictures of the new deliveries to our family.)
God bless your family with this little guy.

Great pictures, Doris. Your vacation in Florida looked so peaceful and restful. That was wonderful. I know you're excited about going to Texas...hope you all have a safe trip and a great trip. I'll be thinking about you all! Spoil Caily good!
Love to all, Trudy
Just reading this post now..... Mrs Beck, I would be interested in getting your sisters email address to look into home-sewn cloth diapers. Does Megan use cloth or disposable? We're in disposable for the newborn stage but are interested in cloth for the future. Thanks, Cherylene
