One Room Done.....

I have been getting grief for not posting any updates on our Renovation so I decided to post just a few pictures to give an idea of what we have been up to. The Laundry room is the first room that is finished, complete with new lino, casings and baseboards and new outlet and switch covers(thank you to our good friend Tom who worked while on their visit this past weekend and helped to get those done.) I love the new clean look and the floor that looks like tile....
This is looking the other direction....sorry about the difference in the browns....can't quite get the right color! Grrr.....and yes, I managed to get water drops on my camera lens again. Not sure when that happened either.
Heather and I painted all day Saturday and part of Sunday and we are so excited about the colors.....Here is a look at the feature wall in the Family room(Georgian Brick) and the main color(Wild Mushroom) ......the carpet will be the next to go!
Yup...this is what the outside of our house looks like at the moment.....quite the change! The upstairs deck has new vinyl, and the rest of the new windows in the front of the house are going in as I type, so next up the new siding will go on.

Two of the three living room windows were replaced yesterday! Clear windows....what a blessing! and no more leaky windows.....Yeah!

Hi Doris! I heard a little about the whole reno saga after Andrew had coffee with Dave last week. You are both very brave taking on such a major job!! But it looks beautiful. Can't wait to see the finished product.

I was telling Tim last night about your renos. He took a walk down memory lane and told me about all the memories that he has at your place. Especially the stories that Uncle Dave told. We are both anxious to get out your way soon, but who knows when.
