The Love Boat

Well it wasn't really 'The Love Boat' although when we celebrated our 25th anniversary with a cruise through the Panama Canal 10 years ago we did sail on the Sun Princess which was the original Love Boat for those that remember that old TV series. Instead, this time we cruised on the Ruby Princess. It was exciting to see her sail in while we were on shore.

She was only 2 years old so definitely a very beautiful floating hotel! Just perfect for us since I love to travel and Dave's not as enthused. This way we had the same bed every night for 12 days!!

I absolutely love swimming so every day regardless of how much we had walked I jumped into the pool and swam lengths. This was our pool of choice...

Some afternoons there was even live music. Our favorite at the pool deck was East Coast Connection seen playing here.

Of course there was lots to be seen inside too. Most times there would be some musician or group playing in the central Piazza.

So much to see and do. Needless to say there was never a dull moment! Too bad we had to take time out to sleep!
