A New Month

January is over and February is here! How can that be? I remember years ago my grandfather saying that the older one gets the faster time goes by. It's so true! One month of 2012 is gone and I haven't started on a single one of the projects I wanted to get done 'this winter'(translate....January). But we have had lots of fun!

You may be wondering about this picture. Did someone really write that in the snow? Did I really write that in the snow?(now I really have you wondering)

Well just into the new year I got this package in the mail....totally unexpected! When I opened it up and unwrapped it, it was a personalized 'Doris' Calendar. Every month has a picture with my name on it! Pretty amazing I thought, after all, 'Doris' is a very old-fashioned name.

But it makes me chuckle every time I look at it and I could hardly wait for a new month to see what the next picture was....hello February!! Here we are!
