A Relaxing Weekend

What a great way to end our summer, by spending a relaxing weekend with Heather and the grands while Matt was away on his annual hunting trip. Halle loves sharing breakfast...anyone's will do!

It was full of lots of books...preferably in our pjs!

 

....an early celebration of Halle's first birthday......

....helped by Big Brother Kai of course.....

 ....complete with a photo shoot compliments of Nana, the wanna-be photographer

 ...which got slightly sidetracked while tracking the cat

 ....and then got back on track with a few less girly things in the hair

 ...and ended with an awesome picture of Buppa and his northern grands.

Of course there were times of watching all of the wonderful music videos on the iPad....

....and bike rides to the mailbox.

It was always fun to be greeted by Halle's enthusiastic 'HI!'

 ...and to watch how much she loves to play with all her toys.

 ...time to cuddle and enjoy the hugs...

 ....and to cheer her on when she realized she really could stand all on her own!

 It really has been a wonderfully, relaxing weekend!
