We are on a journey, sojourners on this earth. Let us share with you the highs and lows of our lives. Heaven is a sweeter place now that we have two beautiful granddaughters waiting there for us.

Making Memories

It was a cloudy Friday but we had made plans ahead of time to make some memories together so off to the Zoo we went. I love this picture because you can see all four cousins lined up looking at the parrot...
...but as you can tell, the boys were quick to move on while Halle had some playing left to do.
Which was sort of how the morning went.
We had some keen map-readers in the bunch and they would all stand in front of it and try to figure out where we were and where we were headed to next.
Kai was very interested in all of the animals and wasn't afraid to get down at their levels.
Halle loved hanging out with her Opa.
Most of the morning the boys were up ahead of us walking with Auntie Megan...
...while us slowpokes brought up the rear.
Of course some things just begged to be climbed on...

...or walked along...

Watching the four cousins enjoy one another made me miss our Texans even more...
...and wish they could get to know their Aunties and Uncles better.
But for now, it was a great morning to make memories together with four generations...
...right down to lunch at McDonalds!!

Love that photo of Halle with her Opa! So good to have cousin time together even when you have to imagine what it would be like to add the ones who are missing.
