We are on a journey, sojourners on this earth. Let us share with you the highs and lows of our lives. Heaven is a sweeter place now that we have two beautiful granddaughters waiting there for us.

Springing Forth.....

As I walk through my neighborhood these days I am in awe of the beauty all around me!

I walk for exercise so I try not to stop and take pictures most days, but after a couple of weeks of not stopping, I just had to make the decision to capture some of my favorites. The cherry blossoms are just getting started and of course they are so beautiful.
These look like little daisies but are actually a bulb of some kind.
Azaleas are in full bloom by now.
I marvel how our Creator majors in the details...tiny bells....
 ....and perfectly formed berries.
Of course the bright yellow forsythias that look like they are literally bursting forth everywhere just have to bring a smile to your face!!
But my most favorite of all have to be the white Star Magnolia trees that are now in full bloom.
We had one of these trees growing in our front yard in our last house...
....so seeing these growing in a parking lot along my walk always make me smile!
Of course the Tulip Magnolias are also magnificent!
And in spite of all my stops along the way, this particular day I walked the furthest I had all winter and made it all the way to this little footbridge.
When I walked back into our complex these hyacinths made me glad that even though we don't have our own yard anymore, there are lots of others that love to plant and weed all around us!

Spring has surely sprung while we were "out" .. I love how we can celebrate the seasons as well as the different vegetation as we travel and the One who created it all!

I can feel spring through your pictures. The snow is finally melting today and our annual river is running by our place, but it'll be a while till we see any color.
