Do You Want to Build a Snowman?

 One of the things that Halle was looking forward to about our Christmas visit

was building a snowman, so last Sunday we headed outside with a carrot and some greens for hair.

Unfortunately although there is lots of snow,

it was below freezing so the snow wasn't great for making snowballs or snowmen.

 But we didn't give up.....instead Daddy came to the rescue with some snow shovels,

and we used our combined creativity to get that snowman made.

 Kai and Halle were delighted with the finished product,

a bit unconventional perhaps,

but a snowman guarding their front door just the same!
