As my parents get older, each special occasion that we get to spend together is a blessing. So yesterday we planned a picnic together with my sister's family so that we could all be together for Mother's Day.
We couldn't remember the last time the three of us had spent Mother's Day together.
It's always fun to see cousins catching up...
...baby bellies growing...
...and second cousins having fun together!
It was a beautiful day, perfect for visiting...
...and for some games of baseball and soccer.
Of course then it was time to eat...
...all 17 of us! :-)
...from the oldest to the youngest.
Of course I missed our daughters and their families, but it was good to be able to at least be able to celebrate most of the mothers in our family together with all four generations
on a beautiful sunny afternoon.

I enjoyed these photos! I have not seen Ev in a long time and probably would not have recognized her. You are so blessed to still have both parents, but I think you know that.
