We are on a journey, sojourners on this earth. Let us share with you the highs and lows of our lives. Heaven is a sweeter place now that we have two beautiful granddaughters waiting there for us.

Walk in my Neighbourhood

I love the fresh newness of spring here at the West Coast and after weeks of walking through my neighbourhood I just had to stop along the way and catch some of the beautiful sights...like this tulip magnolia.
Cherry blossoms are in full bloom...
 ...in every shade of pink!

The blossoms are so intricate, so detailed.

Sidewalks are lined with flowers of every kind and colour.
I think one of my favorite are the star magnolias...
 ...the flowers are so beautiful.
Forsythias are in full bloom everywhere in their robes of yellow.
I love the way the sun was shining through this tree....
Some people have already planted annuals...
...I admire these particular ones every time I walk by. The colors are so vibrant.
These hyacinths line the driveway into our complex and they are so fragrant.
And right by our front door, we now know what color the rhododendrons are...
 ...a deep, vibrant red!

Spring is definitely here to stay and I for one am very, very glad!!

This makes me itchy for spring! My last snow pile is almost gone, does that count for anything??
